Andrew M. Light is an Austrian writer in his mid-thirties. In his professional life he works in a demanding, rational field, but poetry became his refuge when life itself began to collapse.
A writer by necessity rather than design, he never set out to publish – these poems were written because they needed to be. The Sound of Collapse is his debut collection, born from years marked by love, loss, and resilience. His work reflects a restless need to question everything: the meaning of words, silence, and human behavior.
Away from writing, he finds stillness in classical music and strength in ultrarunning. This first book is both a record of survival and the beginning of his voice as an author.
