“wait” I screamed as I opened my eyes and sat straight up in my bed ’no! Not again.. But how and why? I haven’t seen him before, or have I? But if so, where?

I turned on my bedside lamp and as I tried to get up slowly, I was reminded of the mistakes I’d made and what I shouldn’t do again. I walked into my bathroom still in pain and looked in my mirror and I saw this sleepy and still tired version of myself, pale skin, dark circles under my eyes, and hair all over the place. Typical me. I brushed my teeth and tamed this mess that’s my hair. After I got out of the bathroom, I stood in front of my closet trying to figure out what to wear, since I don’t do that often. But today was a special day because there is a town fair. Alysa told me about it.

I decided to wear a coral loose-fitted blouse with black skinny jeans and black ankle boots.

For my hair, I decided to wear it down and natural

“Wedding?!” “Yes, a wedding, trust me, I’m more in shock than it seems.” It was down in her car. The radio turned up loud with Demi Lovato’s ‚Heart attack‘ blasting out the speakers, and she still looked at me, quite probably thinking I was crazy or something.

“But how the hell did they arrange that? I mean, seriously, you can’t just go to a guy and tell him to marry your daughter.”

“ That’s exactly what they did.”

“No way! Hello? But who is this guy anyway? “

“He is 21 and his name is Ali. He is somehow related to me, but I’d never met him until yesterday. He even smiled at me. Of course, my dad looked at me like he would kill me, but I didn’t have the feeling he wanted this whole thing, but what would I know?”

“So this Ali guy, or what he is called, is a cousin of yours and you two are supposed to get married. Don’t get me wrong, but this is just disgusting eww. Just the thought of marring a family member, no matter how close I am related to them. Soph, we have to do something! “ I know, but I don’t know how really”

“ Just leave it to me. I will come up with something by the way. You already have someone meant for you. So, this cousin doesn’t have a chance. Anyway, am I right? “‘ Wow.
