Clarke Hinds

Clarke Hinds is originally from Queens, New York. At the age of three, his family moved to Jamaica, where Hinds spent his formative years absorbing Jamaican culture. The family ultimately moved back to the United States, where Hinds would spend his adolescent years learning how to navigate his way through the nuances of Black American culture. He attended college at the State University of New York at Buffalo, then began his international career in education. For nearly a decade, he traveled and worked in education and community development, successfully completing projects on sexual reproductive rights/health for school-aged girls in Sierra Leone, West Africa and food security programs in Chongqing, China. In 2020 he obtained his master’s degree in Educational Research at the Technical University of Munich in Munich, Germany.
