They say each flower represents different emotions and feelings, but my opinion on flowers is that they mean something different. My “mother” told me that the Gods betrayed her the minute I was created by her and the “Outcast.” at least that’s what she called him. I never understood why, but she always told me that my hair was nothing but a cruse. Maybe that’s why she made me into a monster… a Monster who loves flowers and will run all my life if I have to. If I find this “Outcast,” he’s better than “Mother.” until then, I’ll stay on guard and hope never to meet another monster.
-Yumie *****
“Paimon thinks this ‘Yumie’ Lady can help us, Lummie. Maybe there are some clues about where she is.” Paimon said as Lummie looked around a run-down abandoned lab, seeing broken test tubes, dried-up blood, and old snake skin. “Maybe… it looks like there was a fight here. There’s dried-up blood; maybe she was in a fight and hurt herself?” Lummie said as she kneeled to examine the blood and sighed. “Paimon thinks it might lead us to her. Let’s see if there are any other clues,” Paimon said before flying off with Lummie, catching up to her and yelling out, “Paimon, wait up! We don’t know what’s here!”” It’s fine! Paimon will be careful! What’s the worst thing that can-EEK!” Paimon stops flying, and Lummie sees what made her friend freak out. The room was set up to hold someone in for an extremely long time, with a broken small bed, a side room looking like a bathroom, and a few books. But the main thing that scared Paimon was the Snake den covering a woman who seemed to have died a few months ago holding a bouquet of dead man’s bells so tightly that it would be impossible to remove it. “You don’t think that was Yumie’s m-mother Lummie?” Paimon said with a stutter and shook as Lummie looked at the snakes. “If it is, then we need to ask Yumie about this. But we need to go. Now,” Lummie grabs Paimon’s hand and runs out of the lab with one question in her mind.
‘Why did she kill her mother?’
