Back when you heard the birds chirp in the morning. Back. then when you were happy.
When the air felt fresh, you were young and to you the earth was new. Excitement around every corner, the wind is playing with the leaves. Somewhere far away you can hear an owl hoot and the morning dove sing.
And now you are sitting in a busy coffeshop, the noise of the traffic outside blaring in every time someone opens the door. The chirping turned to loud chattering. The fresh air is now a heavy sultry summer's day that makes your head hurt. You sip your coffee and stare outside the window, wondering if the birds stop chirping for adults.
