Hey!
I’m Emily V., an adolescent who’s loved reading and writing since I was eight. I’d write stories on my dad’s old computer, never for anyone but me. It was my way of escaping the nightmares that haunted me at night. Writing became my biggest dedication. As I entered my teenage years, I lost that love for a while, distracted by the challenges I faced and the changes I got confronted with. But after going through some tough times, I rediscovered that ardent for writing. It’s no longer just an escape. For me it is more a way to express myself and find meaning. I’ve also found delight in exploring different languages, wondering how words can form thoughts, so different from person to person, in ways even native speakers don’t even comprehend. There’s something magical about expressing myself through words I’ve yet to put my mind to.
