Zeynep Cekinmez

Zeynep Cekinmez is a Turkish writer living in Berlin. She studied English Literature and psychology, and began writing through her involvement in a theatre company. Her adaptation and direction of A Midsummer Night’s Dream received awards at several theatre festivals in Turkey. Zeynep also organizes therapeutic workshops for survivors of sexual violence, using poetry as a tool to navigate complex trauma.
