My Cool Vietnam

Xin chao!

I hope some of you might recognise this is “Hello” in Vietnamese and Vietnam is where I was born and came from. Whenever I mention my country to people, I can sort of guess their similar reactions as “Oh! I love Vietnam” or “I would like to visit Vietnam in the near future”. It is understandable, as Vietnam has a lot to offer, from historical sites which witnessed the vicissitudes of the country through tragic wars, to modern and bustling cities where you can enjoy the exotic nightlife and explore all kinds of international cuisines, products and brands.

Recently, Vietnam has appeared on the global news as one of the very few countries in the world that beat back Covid-19, which has so far reported approx. 4,000 cases of the country’s population of 96 million people. You might ask how we can do that? It actually relates to our culture, history and politics, so if you want to know, stay tuned for another article.

Wait! Did I mention that Vietnam has gorgeous natural landscapes as well? A trip from the South to the North of Vietnam is highly recommended. As it is a small country, spending 10 to 14 days will do the work. However, for me when it comes to travel, it’s never be enough.
