running water

are you comming to the water?
where we swore us to run
to move somehow
but to never go easy
into this night
full of lie and deception
we need to exempt
what is ours
and what has been taken from us
to encourage the dicrepancy between me and you
let us build it again
and when you come to the water
source of all life
neverending stream of hope
inviting us to go with it
we’ll promise not to keep quiet
not to stop to stand up straight
until we are being taken to what we always dreamt of
facing our future
so that our fate is no violation of nature’s law
so that we’ll be able to move, to create
and run
towards a common horizon
from nothing but what has kept us apart
and without fear
but irreversible curiosity
for who we are and
yet to become.
