I am a book-worm and a moon-lover. Much of my childhood was spent immersed in stories and fairy tales. Today, I seek to connect with nature and my longing for adventure by feeling the earth beneath my bare feet and exploring her forests, rivers and mountains. I want to read the patterns of the stars and the shapes of the clouds, and listen to the stories and whispers of the trees. To deepen my understanding of nature, I chose to study environmental science. Although I have greatly appreciated my studies, Ive come to realize that the magic of nature cannot be fully captured by science alone. If there is a language for that magic, it is poetry.
