Hi, I’m Sophia Jung, and writing has been my dream for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by the magic of stories, the way they can transport us to new worlds, and make us feel so deeply. I always knew I wanted to write a book someday, and last year, I finally decided to start. Thats how my debut novel, A Secret in the Silent Notes, was born.
I was born on March 1, 2009, in Oaxaca, Mexico, into a family that blends both German and Mexican heritage. When I was still a baby, my mom and I moved back to Germany, where I grew up with my German side of the family in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Right now, I’m a tenth grader at a German Gymnasium, working hard toward my goal of graduating with the Abitur in 2028.
