My name is Taja. I’m 18 years old and I live in Bavaria, Germany. When my family and I moved here some years ago, I struggled to fit in. The language, my looks, and the lack of knowledge about this country set me apart from everyone else. I often turned to daydreaming as a escape from the reality I so very much hated. I started writing songs to capture my feelings and turned some of them into poems. “Hyacinth” is the version of me that drifted too far into her daydreams, and I thought it’d be interesting to share her story and others (in the future).
