Onyx-Aiko is a writer who has been putting feelings into words since childhood. For him, writing has always been more than a creative outlet—it has been a way to understand themselves and express emotions that can sometimes be difficult to say aloud.
As a trans writer, Onyx-Aiko explores identity, emotion, vulnerability, and the parts of ourselves that can be difficult to voice. His pen name carries a deeply personal meaning: when choosing his name, he asked his mother what she might have named him if he had never chosen a name for himself. Onyx-Aiko became a reflection of that answer and a name he chose to carry into his writing.
Through his words, Onyx-Aiko hopes to give shape to feelings that are often left unspoken, turning quiet thoughts and personal experiences into stories that others might recognize themselves in.
