The world is full of knowledge – we turn it into books.

Every day, countless ideas, insights, and experiences remain unread because publishing a book feels out of reach. At story.one, we make publishing simple: transforming content into clear, authentic books – fast, accessible, and open to everyone.
How it works

Rethinking books

A book is still the most powerful way to share knowledge. But it no longer needs to take years, endless resources, or a publishing contract. With story.one, books can be created faster, more directly, and in the authentic voice of their author.

Voices that matter

So much valuable knowledge never becomes a book – not because it lacks relevance, but because structure, time, or access get in the way. story.one removes those barriers, giving people the chance to turn their ideas into works that inspire and endure.

The story.one-Story

For years, as a book publisher, I had the privilege of getting my authors to the top of many bestseller lists, but my enthusiasm began to wane. I had reached my limits. At the same time, my office was filling up with countless manuscripts, not all of them suitable for a long book, but each one peppered with exceptional stories.

I longed more and more to publish all these great stories at once, but how? So I set out to find unknown and outrageous stories. Unsuccessfully. No place for great stories? So, with a little courage and a lot of idealism, I decided to take a leap of faith: To find storytellers with good stories, give them a platform and publish all their books. Here it is, have fun.
I am Hannes, the founder of story.one, and I am thrilled to welcome you here.

As a publisher, I witnessed the power of books to connect people, to inspire change, and to shape the way we see the world. But I also saw how much remarkable knowledge and experience never reached readers. Too often, the publishing process was slow, exclusive, or intimidating – meaning many important voices remained silent.

That’s why I founded story.one: to open a new path for books to be written and published. A path that is faster, more immediate, and more authentic. Our purpose is simple: to give people a voice and to bring their ideas into the world in the form of books.

With story.one, a keynote, a scientific paper, an interview, or even a voice memo can become a book the very next day – concise, readable, and available across languages. Technology helps shape and structure, but the voice, the ideas, and the ownership always remain with the author.

I cannot wait to see the stories and books you will create – and the difference they will make to readers everywhere.
