Story

You might just be

The most beautiful women

To ever see the sun.

But when I talk

About your beauty

I don’t mean

The things the sun can see.

I mean the things

The moon would say

To describe the sun.

I don’t mean the color of your eyes

But the warmth I feel

When I get lost gazing.

I don’t mean the shape of your body

But the comfort I feel

When I get to hold you in my arms.

I don’t mean the tone of your skin

But the way you make every color seem brighter.

Your beauty comes from within.

It seems unfair

For you to have all this beauty

And still to have eyes like sunflowers,

The body of a goddess and skin like silk.

You don’t like

The calluses on your hands

Or the weight on your hips.

Yet I fell in love

With your gentle touch

And the elegance of your body.

You are one of a kind

And no one

Could compare to you.

Even on your worst days

You appear brighter than the rest.

Wearing your gym-clothes

And a sundress.
