Here I was in between a battlefield, of my own doing. My lungs burned in the excitement and panic of it all as I flew away from all this mess upon me. Abandoned by the people who I considered my collaborators.
In a second, I gasped as one of my wings got captured by a rope and pulled to the ground with a thud. I cried out as I felt blood run down my cheek, and hesitantly looked at my captured wing. God of war. A tall hooded figure with horns bigger than my whole body, his face. Not really a face, but a skeleton of an animal, he powered over anyone who stood for his purpose. Even with no eyes, I see the fire that burns inside his empty sockets… He could really use a pair. I could borrow a few of mine, if I wasn’t completely in pain.
“Where were you!?” I gasped: “I was worried you would abandon me!” He didn’t respond to me at first and kicked me to stand up as I did. He started lecturing me: “You know running away from here is impossible, Discord. Where would you even go?” Oh, he was angry… very angry. Time to work my charm! I took two of my eyes from my face and placed them in his sockets. “Look ur happy!!” “Not at all mad at me!” I tried to sound confident but failed, as I saw how silly he looked. Now I was trying not to laugh at him. Silence followed by complete awkwardness. It didn’t land… Abort the mission!
As I took my eyes back, I made a distance between us. I looked up at him, my neck… maybe I could grow it just a bit. No, be serious. “I apologize for my childishness, I just wanted to light up the mood… we are in a deathly situation, no?” I play coy, but he doesn’t budge. The God of war sighs and spits at me: “I have no time for your uselessness. Go find the others.” “Next thing I need is a bunch of you changing my entertainment!” I wince and step back again. With a nod and a sad look, I flew away looking for any chance to find, ironically, God of chance!
He’s per chance the most tolerable towards me, being one of the most adored and disarrable Gods, mostly because he is the most humanoid being. Also, the son of God and Godess of luck and misfortune. Basically, he’s a nepotism version of Hercules. Though Hercules had a lot of stories about him, my friend, on the other hand, only has misfortune as his destiny.
Somber, he sat on one of the hills that overlooked the battle. He was pretty in his weird human way… also, I can’t help to think he’s kinda ugly… is that a rude thing to say? Humans are generally ugly to me, but then again, I’m like a monster to them. I flew closer to him and smirked as I said mockingly:
“What did you manage to blow up this time?”
