My Little White Birdy

Story

Now i’m banished from my home and can’t see my family and friends ever again.

“Don’t make this harder than it is already” you told me in mermaids lagoon, a face twisted by pain.

I knew this day would come, but however i never really expected it would come true.

Dreaming of flying endlessly with you in the great wide heaven blue.

You taught me how to fly,

but now i’m sailing alone through the dreamland-sky.

My little white birdy, why can’t you return for me?

My oldest and dear friend, please change your mind and play one more time your melody.

Let’s go on adventures once again and feel the harmony between us, while we’re writing our history!

I guarantee you won’t regret it!

Please, my little white birdy, don’t forget me, not even a little bit!

I beg you once more, while singing for you.

But only the stars and moon will hear the words, crying for my rescue.

Like a tattoo of a preview life sewn into my soul, was every dream of us keeping me going, waiting for this goal. Believing as my hero you would have a plan and everything under your control.

But only one of two things was true. Robbed me of my dreams, home and crew.

Forgive me little white birdy, i keep you in this drawer. It’s dusty and old, but full of things about you i adore.

I keep my promises but not the place at the window.

It’s closed and locked, just a portal inside to show its older glow.

An echo, a knock is all it would have taken.

Dreamless minds, sleepless nights are getting late.

Lights are on. Lights are off. Depends on the mood.

Hope is flickering like a flame that’s calling every twillight out your name.

But it’s silent. I never get a callback.

But i could swear in late hours i hear a crowl that reminds me of yours, coming from the outback.
