Linguistic Love Letters

My German origin has never been a thing,

Instead, the British accent makes me sing,

The beautiful melody of pronouncing the words,

The exquisite sound of Shakespeare’s verse,

The lovely people wonderfully diverse,

Comprehending one another in fabulous relay,

Not even noticing their magnificent convey,

This one is my favorite, to make it clear,

But also Spanish is pleasing to the ear,

The „r“, the „s“ and so much more,

All the things I certainly adore,

Madrid, Barcelona, everything around,

Inspiring surroundings with a glamorous sound,

Nearly as astonishing as the Iron Lady,

The most striking building in France maybe,

La grand tour Eiffel es épatant belle,

Along with the language, it’s notably swell,

Des crêpes avec sucre, c’est un délicieux,

Every word is remarkably gracieux,

And also the Mandarin fascinates me,

All the mysterious and unfamiliar letters like one word-tree,

„You may find it challenging to learn that speech“,

Great that I treasure the thought of reach.
