Sophie Dunlap

I grew up in California and moved to Austria just before the pandemic. Storytelling and creative expression were always prominent in my family. I adore the arts, literary and visual especially, and derive ample inspiration from them. Although I am always interested in unique styles and genres, dark comedies/mysteries hold a special place in my heart.

Creative writing has always been a passion of mine. My most recent writing opportunity in the YSA project was inspirational and I currently plan to take any more similar opportunities that come my way.

My first published project with Story One was, “An Elegant Crime”. It surrounds the critical events of a young man who aims to commit an audacious crime of utmost sophistication. The short thriller also depicts my own artwork on the left page of every chapter’s start.
