You say that there’s more beyond your scratched surface
All of that water-rage trapped within your frozen rivers
On other people’s thin ice, you intentionally figure skate
While knowing their sufferings that make them shiver
I am not a pearl diver nor a treasure hunter
I do not have to dive deep down into the ocean of your character
To solve the mystery of what’s under its layers
No excuse can pardon your toxic behaviors
I have built up my walls of vulnerability
That was only seen as the gateway of an opportunity
For you to pounce on any cracks in my armor
My ships of endless doubts and worries found comfort
On the strength of your words, they built their harbor
Were we not kids together once?
Did we not roll down the hills of our town?
And shot at each other with finger guns?
We were each other’s synonyms
And now you are a hero’s hated antonym
Though now we stand behind each other’s enemy lines
We are the horizontal line that splits the earth and sky
Two heavens that are forbidden to collide
