Chapter 10. A broken Neck & a lifeless body

When I saw Lucie running out I got angry, angry at myself and especially angry at Bunny. *Lucie is gone* I angrily said via mind link *what do you fucking mean she’s gone* My Beta Liam asked frustrated *Watch your fucking tone around me Liam!* I answered in my Alpha Tone making him, Kyle and Jason bow in fear *now Go! Look for her and if we have to search the whole damn forest for her, I will kill them all!* I barked eyes turning red in anger. And with that we ran out to look for her. We caught on to her scent and ran. By now it was pitch black outside. We kept running and all of a sudden I smelled not only Lucie’s scent but someone else’s as well. Now I was raging the thought of that someone touching my Lucie disgusted me so much that I almost gagged just thinking about it. Suddenly I heard the voice of Lucie in my head *H…heeelpp why isn’t anyone helping me just anyone… please* her voice sounded broken and hurt.

*our future mate is in danger hurry!* Ajax my Wolf growled at me 

We kept running, and we saw a man beating down a girl….and I saw that the girl was Lucie. I rushed to the guy and pulled him away from her.

I punched him, he tried to punch back but when he saw me he stopped immediately “you! What on earth are you doing here?!” I just stared at him coldly and kept punching him “I’m sorry” he said shaking I held the guy by the collar “WHAT WERE YOU DOING WITH HER?!” I screamed whilst low growls escaped my throat “I-I just wanted to have some fun with her” he said quietly. Liam, Kyle and Jason had taken care of the other three men in the meanwhile. “You fucking bastard! if I see you lay a finger on her ever again you’re a dead man…. oh wait you won’t be able to do that anyway” and with those words I broke his neck, throwing his lifeless body to the ground. I ran to Lucie who was lying on the ground falling into unconscious. The sight of her made my heart ache, she looked terrible, she had a black eye, a cut on her lip and several bruises on her face and body. She was shivering from fear and cold her beautiful dress was totally torn. I immediately took my shirt off and put it on her. We ran deep into the forest to our pack house. *Ash come here Now! she’s wounded* I informed him through mind link from far away I saw Dr. Ash our pack Doctor, when we were inside I put her on the sofa and Dr. Ash told us to get out of the room. 

I went to my room and took a shower. After half an hour Dr.Ash informed me via mind link that I could come downstairs. I went downstairs and saw Lucie sleeping on the sofa. I went over to her and stroked her cheek with my hand.

I carried her up the stairs bridal style and put her in my bed. I set a glass of water on the nightstand, as well as an aspirin. I put on a pair of sweatpants and went to lay down with her. Only now did I notice how much she was trembling, I moved even closer to her and put my arms around her waist. „I’m such an Idiot…I’ll keep you safe, you will never feel this pain again” I whispered.
