Story

“I-I b-beg y-you…” she cried silently. The man slowly stepped in front of her, still gripping her hips. He was a young man in his 20s, with obvious muscles and sharp blue eyes. But the blue color of his eyes became darker and clearer when he gently shoved her hair away from her neck and kissed her softly on the neck. His hot breath caressed her neck, and then she heard him whisper in her ears before he withdrew.

“Don’t forget my eyes, pretty girl,” he said and walked away from her into the crowd. Ava looked around and walked out of the party, shaking as if she had been standing in a cold atmosphere for a long time. The fear that crossed through her was unendurable and the thought that she could die anytime still lingered in her mind, until Mr. Ken snapped her back to reality.

“Are you alright?” he asked while approaching her.

“Y-yes I-I am f-fine,” she said and got into the car immediately. It was when she sat down that she realized her hands were getting cold even when the weather wasn’t chilly. Her heartbeat slowed down and when Ken was just about to drive, she closed her eyes and fell back into the chair, unconscious.

DAVID HAYES.

David had traveled out of the city for the sake of his daughter. He wanted to save his daughter and find a way to protect her from the incoming danger even though it meant that he wouldn’t be alive. Ava was all he had, and he didn’t want to lose her to anyone for any reason. When he got in contact with the gray-eyed young man, he knew that the young man could protect her even though he was a killer. David wasn’t afraid that the gray-eyed man could harm his daughter. He was more afraid of the more dangerous people getting hold of his daughter. He had looked at the young man’s photo and booked a meeting with him for that afternoon, and he came early so that he wouldn’t give a bad impression to the young man.

He sipped from his coffee and saw the young man walk into the coffee shop. He was exactly on time as they agreed and David was totally convinced that the young man could help him.
