I decided to skip class. Yes, I know what you’re thinking. Ms. Goodie two shoes skips class, wow. Mrs. Adams is a beast inside that damn classroom. Everyone already left for their classes. As I’m heading down the hallway to the opposite side of the building I decide to take the shortcut through the cafeteria and sneak out the back door. Outside, I’m welcomed by the nicest weather I’ve ever seen. Now I’m really happy that I chose to skip class, because I wouldn’t want to miss this astonishing weather. I’m headed towards my go-to spot, under the tree but on my way I’m blocked by a silhouette. I’m staring at the ground and can’t see who it is, but I also don’t bother to look up because I don’t really care. As long as it’s not him. I’m starting to get quite annoyed because this is the first time someone has actually caught me at my spot. They haven’t really “caught” me though, because this is still on campus, I’m not quite yet rebellious enough to just leave the schools ground, but whatever. I’m annoyed. As I look up at the silhouette I realize who it is. Fuck. I’m fucked. I need to leave now. I’m trying to avoid him, but I can’t. It’s Jackson. He’s the one who destroyed my locker at my first day of school, deleted my physics presentation, burnt my homework and basically destroyed my life since I arrived at this school. One may call him a bully, but I wouldn’t. Not because I don’t think that he’s a bully, just because I think that he can be different. I think that he could actually be the nicest person to go to this school, but somehow he still does these terrible things to me. “Where are we headed loser?”, he says. “Jackson.” The sound of his name trembles over my lips. Why is this happening to me right now. Oh my god, I’m actually scared of him. I mean, how couldn’t I be scared? He’s twice my size, the biggest guy on the football team and looks like a total gangster with his tattooed arms. Dammit, he even got tattoos on his chest. Don’t ask me how I know this. I’ve got my sources of information. No one can get past the gossiping of the girls at this school. Ignoring their godforsaken loud laughing during the lunch breaks is basically impossible. That’s also where I heard that he has tattoos on his chest. “What, princess? I’m just worried about Ms. goodie-two-shoes who has to show up to class, and this is not the way that’s headed to the classroom.” I can’t believe that I actually led myself into this mess. “Why aren’t you in class right now, I mean you’re the one that needs it most, not me.” Oh my God. I don’t know how and why this sentence just left my mouth, but it was the only thing I could think of saying. I didn’t even mean to say that. “You’re getting into more and more trouble today, Ms. Clark, I hope you have good guardian angels.” “You wouldn’t dare.”, I say. His gaze leaves mine. He has an expression on his face that I can’t read at all. Why is he doing this? Why did his facial expression change like that?. It looks like he is trying to mess with me. If so, he successfully confused me. Wow, he knows his way around. I continue looking at him, but his gaze leaves mine again, looking The second he looks away he looks furious. But not the way he did before. He genuinely looks enraged. I slowly turn around and see Chase standing there. Oh, fuck no. Everything is getting worse and worse today. Why does he have to show up here now?
