Life is a teacher who never retires

We keep growing and improving

No matter the age we all make mistakes

It’s not a curse or a fault

We are only human

We are doing our best

You need to be your own leader

Look out for yourself

Believe me when I say you need

To let your guard down once in a while

Being an adult doesn’t bring superpowers

You are a vulnerable precious soul

Dance in the rain, cry as loud as you can

A race against time

Keeps you awake

Heavy eyes

Can’t keep up with the fight

Hold your breath

For a second

It will make time stop

Within the next breath

Clouds will be gone

A better sight will be shown
