Chapter nine

TUESDAY DATE: Today, Sara and Amir will be visiting the orphanage. Coincidentally, the pair liked helping underprivileged children, so they thought it to be wonderful, doing what they love directly from their hearts. Sara and Amir appear from different sides of the orphanage’s complex, as in a movie. The tension of revenge could be deduced from their eyes. They greeted each other lovely and smiled as if they had nothing in mind. At the entrance of the orphanage stood the founder of the orphanage. >>What an adorable couple you two are!<<. The old lady said, surprising both Sara and Amir. >>We aren’t to…get-her<<. Amir rejected the lady’s claim, and Sara couldn’t help but feel the disappointment emerging from her heart. She has feelings for him. >>Sorry, but the sparkle between you two can’t be ignored<<. The old lady exclaimed joyfully. >>Anyway, I warmly welcomed you two to Grace’s foundation. I have made it clear to the kids about your visitation, and they have been on their best behavior, which, to me, is quite surprising. Please follow me<<. The lady welcomed Sara and Amir into the middle-aged complex. The kids were already seated in the gathering hall. Silence prevailed as the old lady started to speak, introducing Amir and Sara. And there, at that moment, she began to cry, and, in a comforting manner, Amir placed his arm around her. Sara began reaching out to the gathered community, and at the end, one word that did not go unheard by the children was the mention of sweets. All kids love sweets. >>Don’t forget only to take a handful. I don’t want anyone calling out my name in the middle of the night because of a stomachache<<. The old lady’s voice echoed through the hall concerned. There, the pair are now fenced by the happy orphans. >>I so appreciate this day. Thank you very much for this wonderful time<<. Sara thanked Amir and placed a random girl on her lap. >>Aren’t you being cute here? You have nothing to thank me for because we decided to be here today, and spending time with you is a huge honor<<. Amir replied. Their joyful visit was at its peak. The pair walk on the pathway. Soon after, they start chasing each other. Sara runs after Amir. Amir escorted Lady Sara home, and at the front gate of her house, Sara thanked Amir once again for the day and excused herself to enter her home. Amir wasn’t himself anymore because he reached out to open the door for Sara and leaned in for a kiss; the surprised lady ran inside the house so fast, shutting up the door and lending back at it, placing her right hand on her chest. >>So this is love<<. Sara’s mother said teasingly.
