Story

As the footsteps get closer, Martin suddenly moans loudly. Martin:” Oh. Just like that.” “What are you doing?” Martin:” Play along!” She gripped hold of his shoulders and threw her head back. “Yes.” He spun Crystal around and pressed her against the kitchen countertop. She instinctively wrapped one leg around him, and he thrust into her hard enough that anyone passing could hear the driving rhythm outside the door. Martin:” You’re so perfect. Come for me.” This time, her gasps of pleasure were genuine. She could feel him hard against her, and the pressure of him between her legs was almost maddening. Martin grins. He knows the effect he is having on Crystal. Two can play that game. Brown bites his earlobe, sucking the flesh between her teeth and soothing it wit her tongue. His groan is entirely unintentional this time, and he stumbles in his rhythm as his hips twitch of his own accord. “Please. Harder.” Crystal is not even sure if their pretending any more. The pressure is growing inside her. Brown’s head is spinning, and feels like she is hanging on the edge of a precipice. Martin seemed to sense this. He moves a hand to her waistband, and when she nods for consent, he slides his fingers beneath the fabric to touch her bare skin. It’s enough to send Crystal over the edge. She let herself scream as pleasure courses through her body. Outside, she could hear footsteps pausing by the door. Then whoever is there chuckles and continues past. “You owe me an explanation. Now.” Martin:” I know. I do.” He runs his fingers through his hair again, making it stand on end. Then he moves towards the couch. Martin:” Shall we talk?” “Do you have time?” Martin:” I always have time for you.” Crystal raised her eyebrows at him and he blushed. Martin:” Well, I wish that I did. And I do now. Can I sit?” She nodded, and he sat down on the couch. Martin:” I don’t know where to start. “Start from the beginning.” Martin:” I’m not even certain when that is. You were there for some of it, at least. Some of the best parts. He looks down at his hands. Martin:” The truth is Felix Granderson is trying to have me killed.” “How?? He’s in jail.” Martin:” He still has contacts. A lot of people want his influence on their side. He has pretty much every hitman and secret group in the business all going after my head.” “And you brought them here??” Martin:” I’m sorry. If I had other options, I would have taken them. “Well. I’m flattered to be your last resort.” Martin:” I can only think of one way to get out of this alive. I have to die.” “No. Absolutely not.” Martin:” I mean, I have to make them believe that I’ve died. For all intents and purposes, Martin will be dead. And then I will be free.” And you want my help with that?” Martin:” I do. I trust you. And I can’t do it alone.” “Tell me what you need me to do.” He kissed her softly and sweetly on the lips. His taste lingers after he pulls away, full of sadness and promise. Martin:” I knew that I could count on you. I already have a plan. I just need you to make sure it goes off without a hitch.” “What if I mess it up?” Martin:” You won’t. That’s why I chose you. You’re the only one I can trust to help me.” I squeezed his hand.” And you won’t really die?” Martin:” Trust me, I want to live. This is just about getting them off my tail.” “Alright, I trust you. I’ll do whatever you need me to do.” He kissed her again. Martin:” Thank you.” He stood up. Martin:” I need to go before they think about coming back. I’ll message you again once it’s safe.” “You are not lying? Do you promise?” Martin:” I promise.” He tiptoes up to the door and peers out. Then he nods at Crystal and disappears from sight.
