“Luna, I’ll go get some paper towels. I’ll be right back!” Nikolas whispered. “Oh, dear! Of course!” Luna replied. Then, he rushed off to the men’s restroom. Suddenly, the rest of Marcy crawled out of the watch and onto Nik’s seat. Well, except for her feet, though, which she didn’t manage to pull out. “Enjoying the movie?” the creature asked. “I was until you showed up! What are you doing here anyway?” Luna replied through scrunched teeth. “Me? Oh, nothing interesting. Just went out for a walk and remembered that you’re on a date,” Marcy giggled in a nasty sort of way. “Get out of here!” Luna insisted. “How rude! That’s not something you say to yourself,” the being continued, “And besides, you thought I’d miss my opportunity to have some fun?”

All of a sudden, Nikolas returned and Marcy climbed back into the watch, exactly before the boy sat down on his chair. “Oh, I’m not done yet!” she whispered before vanishing. “Is everything alright?” Luna asked Nik. “Yes,” he said. During the rest of the movie, Marcy didn’t show up and it worried Luna very much. Yet, she tried not to show that something was wrong. “The movie was so short!” Nikolas exclaimed when the pair left the cinema. “Are you hungry? We can go for a meal, together,” he added. “That would be great!” Luna giggled. And so, they were on their way to a restaurant. Not only were they, but Marcy was, too.

“We’d like to order two “Ginger Gold Rush”, please,” Nik told a waiter. “Anything else?” the waiter asked. “No thank you, we’re still thinking about which salads we want to order”. “Very well, sir”.

Meanwhile, Marcy was plotting something worse than she had done earlier.

“Mmm, this salad is delicious!” Luna exclaimed. Suddenly, the radio played a song she knew. “Oh, I recognize this song, it’s Marcy’s favourite!” the girl nearly told Nik, when she remembered that he wasn’t aware of her double’s existence. “You look concerned. Is something wrong?” Nikolas asked her. “No, not really. Nik, there’s something I must tell you,” Luna confessed. “What is it?” he wondered.

“You see, my refle-,” she spoke, but didn’t get to finish the sentence, because a fire broke out on someone’s table. A plump woman was sitting by it and the moment she noticed her napkins had somehow caught fire, she started running around, screaming like a terrified pig. The woman’s screams interrupted Luna.

Nikolas and Luna turned to see the fire at the same time and when they did, both were petrified by the size of the flames. “I’ll call the fire brigade!” Luna called, grabbing her phone and dialling the number. “Everybody, immediately exit the restaurant!” the bartender yelled. There weren’t a lot of people who sat inside the building, but as they all ran for their lives, the number of them seemed to have tripled. Three fire engines arrived at the restaurant in a few minutes. Firefighters smashed their way into the building, with long hoses in their hands, spraying water at the fire. Nik helped Luna escape into the fresh air.
