Oh, Marcy!
One day, when Luna returned home from school, she found her house completely messy. She’d dropped her bag in terror and stared at the cutlery, food, clothes, pens and pencils that were scattered across the floor. Then she found all her dresses and paintings were either damaged or lying on the floor. The kitchen was much worse. Weird, sticky, red fluid dripped from the ceiling. Luna looked closer at it and realised that it was strawberry jam. She turned her head towards the open refrigerator, where she found Marcy. Her double sat on it, with one foot in the fridge’s handle and sipped from a can of orange juice. When she drank all the juice, she tossed the can at a wall and wiped her mouth with her sleeve. Only then, did the creature notice the girl. “Whoops, didn’t see you there! What’s up?” she said. “What’s up?! This is up! What is this mess about?!” Luna yelled. Marcy’s smile quickly turned into a guilty frown.
“I guess you’re not in the best mood,” she mumbled and climbed off the fridge. “Explain yourself!” the girl puffed. “I do what I want!” the creature exclaimed and crossed her arms. “Clean all this up!” Luna demanded. “Can’t do so” “Why?” “Don’t want to” “You…what?! You can’t just say, “no” and leave!” “Sure can!”
“No!” “Yes!” “Get out of my house, right now!” “I wanted to leave!” “I said, “GET OUT” !” Luna yelled. “Fine!” Marcy replied, vanishing in the fridge’s handle. “Unbelievable!” the girl groaned, collapsing to the floor. “What should I do with her?”
Meanwhile, on a different street, the creature feasted upon a doughnut and thought, “Perfect! My plan is working, as expected!” The poor girl spent all night washing her clothes, sweeping the floors and somehow even managed to get the strawberry jam off the ceiling.
The next morning, Marcy returned to the mirror in Luna’s house. “Gee, what’s this noise?” she yawned, brushing her hair. “Perhaps, the vacuuming of the floor?” Luna replied annoyedly, vacuuming next to the mirror.
“If you don’t like the noise, help me to get finished quicker!” “Don’t want to. Besides, it’s Saturday and you clean up the house on Sundays!” the creature said and vanished.
“Now, for the next phase of my plan,” she whispered, appearing in Nikolas’ kitchen. At that moment, Nik walked into the room, to get himself breakfast.
“Yuck! And she seriously likes him? The boy looks like a homeless dog!” Marcy thought. “Let’s change that!” She looked around the kitchen and soon found Nikolas’ bowl of cereal with milk, standing on the table. Meanwhile, the boy was busy, pouring orange juice into a mug.
The creature appeared in the spoon, next to the bowl, and climbed out of it. She stood up on the table, with one foot in the spoon and waited for Nik to come. When he did, Marcy bent down, grabbed the bowl and poured its contents over Nikolas’ head. Then, she waved the bowl in front of him and said, “Ever seen a flying bowl, before?” Next, she took the mug from the boy’s hand and poured the juice over his head.
