Diaper Duty Dance

Papa Puff and little Pebble had just gotten home. Papa Puff changed Pebble’s swaddling cloth, made himself a cup of coffee, and was about to take a sip when he noticed a strange smell. ‘Hmm, maybe it’s coming from the kitchen’, he thought. So, Papa Puff waddled over to the kitchen and sniffed around.

Papa Puff: Sniff sniff…

But there was nothing there. Confused, Papa Puff checked the bathroom and sniffed again.

Papa Puff: Sniff sniff…

Still nothing. Just as he was about to check the bedroom, he heard Pebble’s familiar cry.

Pebble: Waah… waah…

Papa Puff rushed over to Pebble, and as he got closer, the smell became stronger. He leaned in, and suddenly it hit him, little Pebble had pooped and soiled his diaper!

Papa Puff: Oh my, Pebble! Have you made a stinky?

Pebble looked up with wide eyes and gave a little coo.

Pebble: Aaa Aaa…

Papa Puff chuckled and gently lifted Pebble, carrying him to the changing station. But as soon as he placed Pebble on the mat and reached for a fresh diaper, Pebble wriggled to the right. Papa Puff quickly moved him back into place and bent down to grab a wet tissue, only to find that Pebble had wriggled to the left!

Papa Puff: Oh dear, hold still, Pebble!

Papa Puff tried again, this time managing to remove the soiled diaper. Just as he thought he had it under control, Pebble decided to add a little surprise, he peed right on Papa Puff’s chest!

Papa Puff: Oh no, Pebble!

Feeling a bit anxious, Papa Puff wondered if he’d ever manage to change Pebble’s diaper properly. But then, Pebble let out a soft coo.

Pebble: Aaa Aaa…

It was as if Pebble was reassuring him, encouraging him to keep trying. Papa Puff took a deep breath, wiped off the mess, and carefully slid a new diaper under Pebble’s tiny waist. This time, everything went smoothly, and before he knew it—voilà!—Papa Puff had successfully changed Pebble’s diaper. Papa Puff beamed with pride, feeling like he had just conquered a big challenge. He looked down at Pebble, who was now clean and content.

Papa Puff: My dear little Pebble, Papa has learned to change a diaper today, all thanks to you! Thank you, my baby!

With a loving smile, Papa Puff swaddled Pebble again, and in no time, happy little Pebble drifted off to sleep, snug and clean in his Papa’s arms.
