In the stillness of the night, I close my eyes,
And drift off to a world beyond the skies.
Where dreams dance in the shadows of my mind,
A place where the impossible seems very kind.
In my dreams, I fly through the endless sky,
Touching the stars as they pass me by.
I feel the wind in my hair, the warmth in my heart,
A dreamy moment before reality tears me apart.
Dreams that promise a sunny tomorrow,
But the morning hours bring sorrow.
Dreams are only illusions of the mind,
Very hard not to find.
Yet in the darkest times, they give me hope,
A gentle whisper, a way to cope.
They remind me of who I truly am,
A dreamer, a believer, reaching for the stars’ glam.
For dreams, it’s worth the pain, like a cut,
So I’ll keep on dreaming, with my eyes shut.
