Embracing Colors: Pink, Yellow, Cyan

—Dream Date: 11. January 2023—

A small group of us gathered in a cozy little shed. Across from me, two men shared an embrace, radiating joy. To my right, a girl with curly red hair laughed merrily while delicately sipping her champagne. I felt a sense of familiarity with these people, although my reason for being here remained confusing.

“How’s your love life? Found someone special yet?” the girl inquired. Curiosity sparked in her eyes as she leaned closer. 
“No,” I stated, my tone cool, “I usually tell my mom the same thing: I’m not looking for a relationship, but if I were, gender wouldn’t really play a role.” I shrugged indifferently.
“That’s fantastic!” Her enthusiasm ignited, and she raised her glass, encircling me with her arm. 
Emotions didn’t quite find their way into my heart; I felt as if I were a stone resting in the cool water.
“My priority lies in a person’s character, not their gender,” I added.
While the two men in front of me continued to smile and radiate happiness, my own expression remained reserved.
“Come on, let’s celebrate!” the girl exclaimed, pulling me outside with an eager pull.

In the blink of an eye, I found myself on a Jetski, cruising along a nearby channel. The girl was driving, her excitement erupting into celebratory screams that echoed into the world. My confusion deepened. Why the need for such a celebration? The turmoil of emotions surrounding the situation eluded my understanding.

The scene transformed as a fleet of Jetskis emerged on the horizon. Large flags billowed behind them, painted in vibrant hues of pink, yellow, and cyan. It became clear that these were the colors of the Pansexual flag. My confusion persisted, not about the possibility of my pansexuality, but rather the spectacle of around twenty Jetskis adorned with those very flags, heading our way.
My gaze remained locked on them as they circled around us, a mixture of happiness and relief settling within me. 

At last, I had finally found the answer to my true identity.

And then, I woke up.
