Endless way till light

Story

She grabbed the chair, started pulling it on herself. At that moment, I was growing, what to do? But my body went ahead with all my strength, and I leaned on this chair and I made it fall onto the paint table. To buy some time for running to the door I decided to push her with the chair. Her agonized scream mingled with the thud of wood against wood. The paintbrushes, once mere extensions of her twisted will, now protruded from her back. As blood pooled around her, I knew that this was my chance.

I sprinted toward the door. It hung precariously on its hinges, its condition a testament to the countless horrors that had played out within these walls. Each collision of my shoulder against the wood sent waves of pain through my body, but I refused to yield. Adrenaline, desperation, and sheer willpower drove me forward.

Finally, the door opened with a resounding crash. I tumbled out of the room my body – a symphony of agony, and began to descend the stairs, each step a testament to my defiance, each heartbeat a reminder of my survival. In that chilling abyss, I left behind a room painted in terror, a realm of horrors that only I had emerged from—bruised, battered, but resolute. I burst out of that house and sprinted down the desolate street, my breaths coming in ragged gasps. Her agonizing screams reverberated like the howl of a wounded beast, a cacophony of terror that pierced the air. She cried my name in a voice so feral, it felt like the edge of a blade slicing through my ears. But I ran, ran as far away as I could from that hellish structure that had entrapped me.

It was so disgusting, when I realized fact about every house on this alley. Corpses, victims of her psychopathic madness, lay within them. Those same houses that had once appeared charming. At that moment of desperation, the words of the man from before echoed in my mind, his words about a world where no one helped one another. And his fear in the eyes. The stark reality of his words hit me like a tidal wave. I had fallen into her trap, ensnared in her web of deception, but I had managed to break free. Others hadn’t been so lucky.

Tears streamed down my cheeks, my body trembled, and my lungs burned with each breath. Legs heavy as lead, I willed myself to keep running. The pain in my chest intensified, and my gasps for air grew more desperate. I had to get away from this nightmarish place, step onto a bustling street, and blend into the crowd.

Why does this alley seem so long now? The buildings that had appeared unassuming had morphed into malevolent sentinels. I would never be the same again. When, oh when, would this curse street end? When would I break free from this labyrinth of terror? When could I leave this suffocating fear behind?

Eventually I ran into this busy street. No one was paying any attention to me, but I didn’t care. “That’s it! Freedom!” I was released. From the sage that I got out I couldn’t take a step and fell unconscious on this bright street.
