Epilogue

Present

Sigrid sadly passed away in a hospital alone in 2021.

Before she died she kept repeating that God took all of her friends and family from her, but it seemed as if He has forgotten her.

On 12 June 2021, God remembered her and brought her to her family for the last time.

The day she passed away everything felt different it was as if we knew what was going to happen but could not quite place it. What I remember is that the sun shone beautifully bright that day and the sunset was the most incredible display of colours that I have ever seen in German skies.

On the day of her death, her companion, the sun, shone the brightest since decades and said her last goodbye.
