Feelings – Day 6

Another day, another adventure with Martin is coming up I guess. Maybe this time he reveals his real feelings. Martin:” How do you feel about modern art?” “I like it.” Martin:” Then you’ll certainly like that! He just sent me a photo of him. It looks very sexy and hot again. “Is this you and … WHAT??” Martin:” Kinda contemporary art.” “But I think you’re better looking than the art itself.” Martin:” Flattery! I should say it won’t get you anywhere, but who am I kidding? It’ll get you anywhere with me.” “ANYWHERE?” Martin:” If it’s you? Absolutely.” “Where are you that you’re posing with gorgeous art?” Martin:” My house.” “You stole it, didn’t you?” Martin:” I did. I swiped it from some rich business owner who fired a bunch of her employees. Going to pawn it and give the money to those she fired.” “How did you find out about any of that?” Martin:” Johnny has eyes and ears everywhere.” “Speaking of Johnny! You left me on a cliffhanger. What did Johnny want?” Martin:” Ah, It was a lead on another of one of Felix Granderson’s little posses. All the people that made his purchase of that land possible.” “We have another adventure to go on?” Martin:” Not yet, but probably soon. Johnny seems to think Granderson’s personal banker may have some information we need. That’s all I know so far. “You and Johnny must have quite a bond. To do all this together.” Martin:” Are you jealous?” “That’s a stupid question. Of course not.” Martin:” Glad to hear that and what about Johnny? He’s like my little brother. We’ve been inseparable for as long as I can remember. We owe each other everything.” “Will I get to meet him?” Martin:” Hopefully one day. He’s special to me. … and so are you. “Really?” Martin:” I’m beginning to feel that way. Yes. Until now, it’s just been me and Johnny against the world, but you change all of that.” “I feel the same way.” Martin:” Wonderful! I never thought I would find someone like you. I feel genuinely lucky to know you.” “You’re the one to talk about. I’ve never known such a good-hearted person. Even if you’re a little arrogant sometimes.” Martin:” So I suppose we can both count ourselves lucky. Let’s hope we can help people with less luck than us.” “We’ll, if this lawyer’s computer turns up anything …” Martin:” Or if Felix Granderson’s banker has information.” “Right. Then we could do some real good.” Martin:” I like the way you think! And the way you look, by the way.” “Ditto.” Martin:” Love it.” “You’ll keep me updated on this Felix Granderson thing?” Martin:” I will. After me and Johnny, you’ll be the first to know, but I should really get back to looking through these legal files.” “If you must!” Martin:” I’ll be thinking of you.”

Martin:” Are you up for a proper heist?” “Of course.” Martin:” An eager partner! I like that! The lawyer’s computer gave us some good information. But it’s not enough to really nail Felix Granderson. We think his personal banker holds another piece of the puzzle. So we’re going to steal the deed to the land.” “That’s a big task.” Martin:” It is. But hopefully it’ll be worth it.” Felix Granderson definitely didn’t acquire the land he bought legally. We think the deed is a forgery.””Then where is the real one? It makes me so mad! Just how could that happen? How could Granderson get away with all this?” Martin:” Believe me. Much worse, people have got away with even more vile things. But this time, the bad guy isn’t getting away. Now we have a heist to plan.”
