From passion to performance

Whenever we encounter something novel and captivating, an irresistible attraction pulls us in. In those initial moments of discovery, our enthusiasm burns brightly, fueled by the freshness and excitement of the experience. However, as time inevitably progresses, the allure of the object of our fascination gradually diminishes. What was once vibrant and enthralling begins to lose its luster, fading into a state of mundanity and tedium.

Despite this fading allure, we often find ourselves persisting in our engagement with the subject. Motivated by a sense of duty or habit, we continue to participate, even as the elements that once evoked our fervor give way to mere performance. Once we find ourselves trapped in the realm of mere performance, however, we must unhesitatingly pause and reflect. Only through introspection and contemplation can we uncover and rediscover the authentic calling of our souls.
