Good Morning, Alice!

Story

Dreams are influenced by lives and experiences.

Clocks will keep running clockwise and cards will keep getting dealt and people’s heads will keep getting chopped off by evil queens and tea parties will keep serving too small cakes and little girls will keep falling down rabbit holes and dreamers will keep dreaming.

Who are you?

Are you awake or are you asleep?

I am you and you are me and we are us and us are we.

In a dream within a dream that is my dream that is your dream.

Did you know that,

Alice fell down the rabbit hole and kept falling

and falling and got lost and had a marvelous time?

She encountered curious things

drank from bottles with funny labels, attended mad tea parties,

and played deadly cricket with a queen.

In my dreams I fall down rabbit holes and tumble down, down, down, and further down.

Through the rabbit hole night after night

I wake up in strange worlds.

I sleep and I wake in familiar places turned alien.

Nothing makes sense and everything is perfectly sensible.

Family members take off in flying cars

Strange shapes twist and turn

Is that Neo from The Matrix?

In my dreams, sense and nonsense meet for tea.

Sunlight transforms into the cold light of a December morning

An alarm clock sounds.

I jolt awake from a falling sensation

Dreams, so vivid moments ago, turn into smoke

Where did the Mad Hatter and Cheshire hide?

A second ago, I chased the White Rabbit.

Now, I chase my disappearing dreams.
