time passes continuously, whether we want it to or not
but still, we often mourn the passage of time instead of cherishing it;
nostalgia can be both beautiful and cruel
sometimes, the only way out is through
sometimes, we really need to consciously make time and space to confront ourselves with the things that bother us. the only way out is feeling it all without judgment.
then, happiness will return at last
now’s the youngest you’ll ever be, getting older is inevitable
still, we cling onto our past as if the future will feel less intimidating, less scary because of it
but let me tell you one thing: holding onto your past won’t make things easier or less scary or better or fun in the future. it will weigh you down and drain you. use your precious energy wisely
the passage of time is not in our control, so staying present is one of the most important things in life. instead of mourning the past or worrying about the future, we should try to focus on the present moment, the real present moment. THAT’S WHEN LIFE HAPPENS
life’s not only about the big moments, the big accomplishments, it’s about every second, every tiny well-spent moment.
LIFE’S ABOUT ENJOYING THE PASSAGE OF TIME
don’t let people fool you
written by a mind which is very much worrying about the future :)
