What if?

What if I mess up?

What if I fail?

What if it never gets better?

What if it works out?

What if I can learn from my mistakes?

What if it does get better?

Life just isn’t fair

I don’t believe that everything happens for a reason.

I don’t believe in a well-meaning god or any other religious creation.

Sometimes life just really sucks.

Sometimes life just isn’t fair.

Hope

Even in the worst, there is light.

Even in horror, there is something kind.

Maybe we just need to seek it to see it.

Maybe we just need to appreciate it.

Maybe then the cruel doesn’t feel as terrifying.

Maybe then we can say: “It’s part of life. So, it is.” without lying.

Maybe

Maybe everything will be okay.

Maybe not.

But I think maybe,

We should keep on going.

Even if it’s just for the plot.
