Homework was always easy for me,

on that we can agree.

I’ll also say that math

wasn’t really my path.

That’s when i came to you

to help me through.

You sat down with me

and i can guarantee

that in the end

i did comprehend.

Back then it was normal for me

that you were always free.

Now i am older and i know

that it wasn’t always so.

You had long days at work

but you were never a jerk.

You always made time for me

and you have never let me see,

just how tiring it must have been,

you always held it within.

I could come to you with every question,

and you would always have a suggestion.

You never pressured me

into getting a degree.

To say it in short,

you did anything to support.
