Infatuation – Where there is a Will is a Way

“Well, you are in a great mood,” greeted the old man. “By the way, this time I brought back the crates. I had forgotten the last time.”

“No problem, Sir,” said the young man with a big smile on his face.

“You went to get some rest, did you not?”

“Even better!”

“Better?” asked the old man with a confused look on his face.

“Yes. I went to the trail you suggested and found the most beautiful creature on Earth.”

“Oh really. What did you find?”

“A peacock.”

“Oh yes, peacocks possess an exquisite beauty, do they not? Their beauty has hypnotized me a couple of times myself.”

“This peacock was more than beautiful. It was divine! All my problems went away since I came across this bird. And I know how to keep them away for good!”

“Well, that is great to hear, young man, but I am not sure how the peacock solved all your problems.”

“I will explain it to you the next time you come visit. Tonight, I have some big plans. I have to catch the peacock before it gets dark,” said the young man.

“How are you going to catch the peacock?” asked the old man with a concerned face. “I do not think catch—”

“Here is your crate of milk, Sir. I have to go now and don’t worry about me. Where there is a will is a way!”

The young man was right. Where there is a will is a way. He was back with the peacock before it got dark and went to bed triumphantly that night. But unlike his previous days of perfect sleep, he woke up with eye bags, which got darker each day.
