Lilly woke up to her annoying loud alarm that crashed her scull, as she went to stop the alarm her nose hit a delicious sent, coffee, that’s exactly what she needs right now, a hot big cup of coffee to Stop her headache just to get back on track after yesterday’s party. She stumbled down her bed and went down the kitchen, as she picked up the coffeepot to poor her self a cup, Lilly saw a shadow that looked exactly like her mother, that got her thinking maybe she was still alive, but that would mean that it would hurt more if she found out that she was still dead. Lilly couldn’t get over the fact that maybe she would come back, come back home.
Trying to get her head raped around it was hard for her, she needed help if she ever wanted to find her mother. Assuming everyone would think she was crazy she couldn’t tell the police, or her father the only one left she could trust was mike. Lilly got some clothes on and grabbed her phone, called mike and asked to meet him in the CafĂ© 5 minutes away, kissed her dad goodbye and ran out the door. She was sitting the couch and her leg shaking up and down, he breath shorting by the minute, and her head replaying what she is going to say, hoping he would understand and help. Mike walked threw the door and sat next to her, “hey” he stated with a wired look on his face “are you ok?” He asked looking at her shaking leg, “yeah I am fine, I have to tell you something” she replied and looked into his eyes With her own wide open. “I think my mother is alive, and I need your help finding her” he reached for his coffee and asked “where do we begin” as he took a sip of his cup. “Well first we need to find her phone, I got the call from the same number” she explained, meanwhile he grabbed his laptop to try and track the phone. “I learned some things when i was in camp in the 6th grade” as he saw a smile growing on her face “you don’t think iamb crazy, do you?” Lilly grunted softly, deep down he knew it wasn’t true, but if she could be alive he didn’t want her to go alone looking for her.”No, I don’t, ok now give me her number. Maybe I can find something” he replied with an almost concerned face, after Lilly dictated the number she took a glance at the watch on the corner of her phone.
8 am
“Oh god I am going to be late for math” keep in mind school was very important to Lilly skipping school or being late is not Lilly. She packed up her things and got up and sprinted out, stopped for a second and took a couple steps back gave mike a hug and tilted her head to the side and said “thank you” and ran out. As Lilly tried to find her purse to pay for the coffee a Paper note was stuck between her ID and her bus card, she opened it, and it stated “renoldsstreet, today 6 pm” Lilly looked around and put the note back in her purse so no one could see it. After school, she asked mike if he wanted to go with her, she had a hunch it could be related to her mother’s death, or more like her disappearance. Lilly looked out her window and was mike in his car, ran down the stairs and as she was opening the door she looked at the Family picture they had taken a couple of weeks before she died, picked it up stared at her mother and thought to herself that she was going to bring her back home. Lilly was so concentrated on the picture of. Her mother that she totally forgot.that mike was waiting for her, he honked at her, and she came back to her senses.
