Greetings for the morning! It was such a wonderful day! The green Apennine peaks were illuminated by the rising sun. Mr. Hoffmann and Frau looked very mysterious in the white, milky fog. After breakfast, accompanied by a pleasant, delicate, aromatic Italian coffee, they were ready to go. Those days were so bright and hot. The temperature reached +39 C. As the couple moved further from one place to another spontaneously without a concrete plan, an everlasting journey took place. It had been just the beginning of a great adventure. The journey itself reminded them of an endless story, which started with a simple meeting of two hearts and turned into a lifetime, including all its drama, romance, love, and passion. After a two-hour drive, they were in the heart of Roma. Huge squares combined with small and narrow streets created a unique ensemble with the hundred- and hundred-year-old main roads next to important, up-to-date components of small side pathways. The road structure was constructed extremely stunningly. The buildings situated around it were colossal and established the atmosphere of the Giants’ city. The couple admired the greatest architectural works made by human hands over the decades and the former glory of the ancient Roman Empire. The entire city seemed to be a museum itself. A long history was carried within its walls. It stood on the ruins of its former glory. The area felt like a part of a great continuum that combined the past and the future at one point. Our characters imagined what had happened many centuries ago and observed the outcome of the influence of modernity and its forms at the same time. They were taking steps on the stones where gods, nobles, kings and queens, and emperors used to walk, as well as many other famous and unknown ones, who would also become a part of history one day. A long time ago, ROMA was considered a center of culture and economy with its absolute power and absolute breakdown. It was a place that was visited by numerous people from all over the world who made their own contribution to it. At midday, Mr. Hoffmann and Frau were ready to discover more, as it was in their blood. The feeling of life and joy, especially, a great deal of expertise drove their lives. This significant personal involvement contained not only theoretical, passive knowledge, formed by reading, listening, or watching, but also practical ones, which described more essential, extravagant, and deep experiences through tactile senses, which were expressed by touching, smelling, and tasting life. They loved to play and interact enjoyably with the world and could share each moment spent with each other. The gentleman kissed the lady for the first time at the Basilica di San Pietro, full of golden lights in the main hall in front of Jesus on the Cross. Saints and angels and God were witnesses of the genuine intention of his true heart. Frescoes and the iconostasis of the basilica surrounded them with all sanctity and purity. The angels started to sing in honor of unconditional love. A moment later, the lovebirds crossed the square of the Vatican and headed to Ponte Sant’Angelo, where they had a live performance. A beautiful, womanish voice suddenly came to their ears. It made them dance in amusement. Their bodies felt the rhythm. Holding hands, laughing, moving their bodies closer and closer, they did not even notice the surrounding crowd. Only that special moment existed, and nothing else mattered. The couple was so happy that they lost a sense of time. Noticeably, it turned into dusk.
