Water connects, so that’s why i threw the bottle. Water combines everything, so i wrote a message to you, like i’m Aristotle. i hope, it finds you soon enough. I hope the sea is friendly to my little message in a bottle and not too rough. Water connects. I really believe in this.. The waves will send my letter to you, with lots of love and a kiss. When the bottle is stranded on the sandy shores, and you pick it up, hold it in your hand, you would recognize the shine of the glass in the summer sun from everywhere! It’s the same glimmer, you remember, from the look in my eyes. And with a glance over the ocean and horizon, you know faith has started to rise again. The smell of the salt reminds you of my hair and how it flew in the warm air. A comforting memory, of how we cooked in the kitchen and tried out so many things. Curious, you wonder, what sort of news this message in a bottle brings. All that’s left, is waiting. Waiting and hoping. Waiting and wishing. There is nothing i can do anymore, except sitting on the floor full of golden sand, staring out on the blue waves of the ocean. Watching the sunrise and setting again. Waiting and waiting, with an agony and longing in my heart that is so heavy, i almost can’t handle its remaining pain. Will the little bottle find you or someone else? Will it be the right person, or am i damned, it might find the wrong daughter or son of the earth? I’m restless, the days sitting at the beach feeling endless, and yet i know the wait is worth it, even my brain doubts it sometimes. My thoughts telling me you will never get to read my little written rhymes. The earth is round, the message in the bottle knows your voice by sound. Like i can’t forget you, the streams can’t fail to reach you out there in the nowhere blue. I’m here waiting, my message in a bottle will hopefully get to you. It’s simply not possible destiny would let us down and fail. Love always wins in the end, and it will hand you over my little bottle mail. All i have to do is wait. Wait. Wait. All it takes is a little bit of faith. Faith. Faith. All i can do is, waiting. Waiting. The clock ticks by and impatient i dream about us again going out, dating. I really wish to see you again. Telling you, that you’re my man. Desperate, I keep my eyes on the waves, searching for a little answer in a shiny glass bottle, that will tell me, that my belief didn’t fail me. Didn’t let me down, falling broken shredded on my knee. The answer in a bottle will erase my worries from heart and mind, telling me, we will see each other again. The letter with your handwriting and love signed. Never felt a storm of emotions and ocean waves so kind. And our love will gleam like the stars at night, that are worshiping the firmament, by being little silver diamonds on the midnight sky’s crown. Guiding you with their light, right back to me to our little hometown. And guide me back towards you. Love in a bottle will reign, two souls being one beating, healing heart again. Water connects. I still believe in this theory. Like i know, our chemistry is real and dearly. Message in a bottle, flooding through the ocean, led by faith and love. The bottle didn’t leak, the ink is a victim and now a mess of my tears. Sorry, maybe the next time i will use a dove. But i hope, this won’t be necessary. I never want to have you this far away from me ever again! Never wanting to feel it again, this kind of loss and pain, feeling like i would drown by thoughts, worries and longing in the rain. Raindrops that are whispering to me, everything is and will be fine, like it used to be. And that i just have to wait a little bit longer out there, staring at the sea.
