My first job offer

Yesterday, I received my first job offer of my life.

What I wanted to do,

Where I aspired to be.

I’ve been pumped all day long. Now I’m getting the squeeze.

Will I be able to do it?

Will they like me, thus confirming first impressions? Will I like this new situation?

What if I am uncomfortable in Berlin?

I also feel the chasm sucking in things left undone.

Promises, people, projects.

I am slowly realising the new unknown I am heading into. A total unknown that simultaneously excites and terrifies me.

A new chapter in my life is about to begin.
