Story
Sydney

>>This place is as quiet as my grandma’s grave. >>Maybe Eva was right about getting the book back then<< Charlotte murmured worriedly, considering the possibility of someone following her. Nevertheless, she continued looking for her book and went upstairs. No students were on the school grounds, starting to get on Charlotte’s nerves. So she quickened her walking pace. She couldn’t find the book on her desk when she got to the classroom. >>No! That can’t happen right now. Where could I place it? I took it to biology class and then brought it back to this classroom… and… oh yeah. I completely forgot about it. It was supposed to be in acting class << Charlotte finally figured it out and went downstairs. She extended her short trip and strolled through the cafeteria to the third floor, considered the school’s scariest hallway. The school’s chic drama classroom is at the other end of the hallway. >> I shouldn’t be afraid if I want my book. That’s not scary, Charlotte! It’s different than you’ll meet your grandmas there.<< Out of fear, Charlotte tried to calm down. >>Grandma, it was Will who hid your stuffed animal. It wasn’t me, so you should probably leave me alone<< Step by step, she made her way to the end of the hallway for what felt like an eternity. Then it happened—your worst nightmare. A black shadow raced from one corner to the other. Charlotte couldn’t move; she just rubbed her eyes for confirmation. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a dream. Whatever appeared meant something vital as it slowly approached Charlotte. >>Hey, go back! Who are you?<< Charlotte shouted as she walked backward continuously. >>Stand back!<< She continued to threaten because she feared the unknown figure approaching her. She ran for her dear life when she realized that her tactics were useless. So there Charlotte was, all in the name of a silly book, and some creepy figure was chasing her. >>Eva was so right about terrifying things in the school after its closure<<

The mentioning of Eva’s name promptly made Charlotte reminisce about their earlier encounter, after which she decided to visit the school alone. [Flashback] As they turned left to the main street of Sydney on their way back home from school, Charlotte rejoiced like a toddler >>I can not believe he fell for that. Who is so dumb not to realize that they are being used?<< In Eva’s silence Charlotte asked >>Why with the long face?<< After clearly knowing she did not follow their plan. She was only supposed to date him for a week and dump him after he purchased the yearbook. >>Lotte! That was not the plan, and I am afraid he might get us back for it<<. Eva uttered. >>Well, I would be glad to have the two if you do not want the book. Besides, the cheerleaders asked for one of the yearbooks, and I got to be on the team. I am not interested, but they practice with the basketball team, which Liam can finally get part of, and I take my revenge and show him what he lost. I will flirt with his best friend, Luke, who I found out to have a major crush on me. I am planning on dating him for the entire school year. Soon, we will be the school’s hottest couple. Only for the attention, of course. Isn’t it amazing?<< Charlotte uttered without a single remorse.
