New Year

I could not have chosen a better day to come and see you. This is the place of silence and the place of listening.

I grew up in fertile soil.

The sea never makes the same movement. The gold of the sun reflecting off the waves has always enchanted me.

As a child, I was mesmerised by the reflected rays projected on the wall of our little beach house. The sea and the sun made this game of light possible.

I hope to discover even more… about myself.

2018 was a year of change, a turning point, in some ways.

2019 will be fertile ground for these new seeds to germinate.

The cradle of what will be.

I don’t want to set real resolutions, because I don’t really believe that personal growth can be planned upfront. Better to do a backward analysis.

I am glad that I have started writing again. Evidently it was a necessary act.

The colours are changing.

I will continue to contemplate.
