Did that really happen? Did he really kiss me? I can’t wait to hear from him again. I just need some rest. The next morning, during breakfast, I heard the sound of my phone. It was Martin again. Martin:” Well? How was your first taste of adventure? “I preferred my first taste of you.” Martin:” Yes, I have to say that was my favourite part as well. I love the way you kiss me, you’re such a good girl.” “If you praise me like that every time, I’ll consider.” Martin:” Have thing for praise? I’ll keep it in mind for the future.” “You better, but for now, I’d like more details about this operation of yours.”
Martin:” Right. You deserve some answers. What do you want to know?” “Whatever you’re comfortable telling me.” Martin:” Ok. Back when I was still a government agent, I took down a lot of bad people and my last job was the Felix Granderson land ownership case.” “The government was after Felix Granderson? Why didn’t you and Johnny take him down then?” Martin:” We tried. We almost succeeded, but Granderson got to my boss. He bribed him and when I threatened to go public, I got Johnny and I fired, stripped of all our titles and credibility. “That’s awful.” Martin:” What’s done is done but all those people Felix Granderson stole from are still being affected. That’s why Johnny and I made it our mission to do away with Granderson ourselves and help anyone else we could while we were at it.” “I guess the whole system is broken, huh?” Martin:” When I was in it, I would have said no, but … Yeah. So, are you in? Will you help us?” “I will.” Martin:” I knew you had a good heart. We’ll do this together!”
“What about Johnny? Did he get the computer unlocked?” Martin:” He did. I’m looking over the files right now.” He just sent a picture of him over the files. He looks so good. “Nobody has ever looked THAT good while working!” Martin:” Haha! I can make anything look good!” “How can you be arrogant AND charitable?” Martin:” I’m just that good, I suppose.” “You definitely are. So, was the computer worth stealing?” Martin:” I prefer the word “liberating”. “Ok, sure. Was it worth liberating?” Martin:” Haha. I’m not sure if it was worth it yet. There’s a lot here to read through. It’ll take some time.” “What should I do until then?”
Martin:” Think of me?” “Oh, I am!” Martin:” I’ve been thinking of you as well. A lot. Sometimes doing more than thinking.” “What else have you been doing?” Martin:” Something I’d rather do with you. There wasn’t nearly enough room in that closet.” “No there was not.” Martin:” Next time I won’t be held back.” “We can hope!” Martin:” There’s always hope, isn’t there?” “That’s a very positive attitude.” Martin:” You’ve got to stay positive. Otherwise, this life will eat you alive.” “You mean your life of crime?” Martin:” OUR life of crime. You came with me to that lawyer’s office.” “I guess so.” Martin:” We’re in this together now. Like it or not.” “I could get used to it. Maybe.” Martin:” Glad to hear. Hmm …” “Everything OK?” Martin:” Johnny just messaged me. I need to go.” “What did he say?” He is away again. Is he going to do another crime or what?
