Story

I promise, my sunlight, I will do better.”

Slowly but surely the moon did get closer.

The sun’s glare still filled with fire, but he merely went past her, sitting down next to the soul held tight in the sun’s arms.

“I don’t expect you to forgive me, but let me still say my piece. I’m sorry for how I treated you. It was wrong of me. In truth, I was jealous, no glow of my own, and you own so many all-around they do glow, but those are my feelings, I had no right to let them out on another.

No need to fear, it was all out of fear, and I know words are empty… none of mine were true but the emotions are still true in you. I could slow down the dance if you would like to try another?”

The stars long taken their face out of their knees, they looked up at the moon.
