The Custodian of Language

Story

The Custodian of Language is very articulate. He sees words not just as words but as a composition of several elements. Each word is not just a word, and each letter is not just a letter, as they always roll together and create a special sonority. The sonority conveys not only the interplay of letters and the resulting words but also encourages the listener to absorb the tones in various forms. Be it sorrow or joy, the Custodian of Language feels equally for both.

The Custodian does not condemn those who try to find their own sonority. He always sees the uniqueness in everyone who reveals their own melody because he knows that everyone has experienced their own highs and lows over time. He does not condemn those who linger in the shadows; instead, he shows them a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

He prefers to venture into the unknown to bring the beauty of the sonority to others, rather than staying in one place. Not because he dislikes it, but because he wants to bring the wisdom and influence of the sonority to those whose sound may already be slowly fading or who may not have the opportunity to be heard. He stands by those who need his help, like the radiant stars in the darkness of the night watching over us.

The Custodian of Language does not feel alone, even though he has been fighting the exhausting battle alone for several eternities. He finds joy and completeness in what he does. He is like a feather carried away in the sound of the wind to an unknown world full of highs and lows.

He does not prefer to remain silent, even if he is seemingly unwanted. He knows that not all of his actions receive approval and enthusiasm. Even as he encounters increasing rejection, he remains steadfast, like a foundation that, no matter how powerful the storm may be, cannot collapse. The Custodian cannot be described because he is always what each of us needs at a particular moment in the right time.

Whether it be an animal, a feather, a foundation, a letter, or a song, the Custodian of Language is always close to us, whether we notice it or may not perceive it at the present moment. He watches over us with an inner satisfaction, as if he were standing on the edge, listening to the sound of the wind.
