The Illusive Charm:2

Story

Chloe questioned my interaction with Andrew, claiming that he was a good-looking womanizer who used and dumped girls. This comment struck my nerve, as it felt like Chloe was prying into my personal life. Asserting my independence, I firmly stated that I was not a naive child and knew what I was doing. This disagreement escalated into a serious argument, and we started exchanging heated words. I told Chloe she was a private prostitute, and she had no right to give me advice. This really pissed her off and she attacked me. In the blink of an eye, I was lying on the floor trying to fight for my life as Chloe kept slapping me non-stop. She kept saying” You are no better than me.” The noise in our room got to other students in the nearby hostels, and they came to separate us. At that point, I was in tears. I really didn’t like Chloe at all, and her attacking me just worsened my hatred towards her. Our colleagues dragged her outside the hostel. I stayed inside with some students comforting me.

Staying in this hostel was becoming unbearable for me, and I was desperate to find a way out. I was genuinely afraid of something terrible happening, especially at night with the presence of that unpredictable girl. But unfortunately, I felt like I had no other choice but to stay put. So, I ended up staying in my bed, shedding tears as the other students gradually left the premises. It was such a lonely and disheartening experience. Then, out of the blue, Chloe walked into the room. She gave me a devious look before heading to her own bed. We became complete strangers, living together but not really knowing each other anymore. To make matters worse, Chloe started bringing different guys into the hostel, and I couldn’t help but feel like she was doing it just to mess with my head. But I decided to keep my cool and avoid any more conflicts with crazy people. I didn’t want to get caught up in their drama anymore.

It had been approximately two weeks since I last laid eyes on Andrew. During that time, thoughts of him consumed my mind, and memories of our initial encounter flooded back. I longed for the opportunity to meet him once more, as my feelings for him had begun to blossom despite our limited interaction. Often, I would find myself seated in the library, hoping that fate would bring him to me, so we could engage in conversation once again. Alas, my hopes of meeting him again had started to fade away.

One day, as I sat lost in contemplation in a park, a voice called out to me, referring to me as “princess.” Instantly, I recognized the voice as Andrew’s. My heart skipped a beat as I turned around, only to see him standing at a distance. A mischievous smile played upon his lips, causing my cheeks to flush with a rosy hue. He approached me, his presence captivating, and asked, “Should I treat you to something to eat, princess?”
